Extending from the middle of the posterior rami of the ischial bones are the ischial spines, which are of great obstetrical importance.
This structure resembles the posterior face of the inner part of the ascending ramus of the pterygoid in brachyopoids.
Only a 5 mm wide area of facies buccalis of the left ramus has been cleaned in order to expose the row of protuberances.
The poor condition of the fragment does not allow us to say precisely how it was separated from the rest of the ramus.
