0 a South American bird in the parrot family, with bright feathers and a long tail -- vẹt đuôi dài
Macaws are the largest of all parrots.
The zoo is several blocks north of the beach and is home to more than 290 animals including lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, and macaws.
Furthermore, only the oldest residents of the region had knowledge of the macaw, with the species last recorded in the 1870s.
They typically live at elevations of 600 to 2600 m, higher in the mountains than most macaws ever range.
However, these macaws may seasonally fly down to lowlands, where they are likely in humid forests and thorny woodlands.
It is not known if these macaws will pair with another mate if their original mate dies.
However, some species listed as vulnerable may in fact be quite common in captivity, an example being the military macaw.
This macaw is rare with a highly restricted range.
The zoo currently specializes in eight worlds of animals: cougars, lemurs, cranes, reindeer, macaws, wallabies, ratites, camelids.
