It includes the bloodwoods, ghost gums and spotted gums.
The two state forests contain areas of selectively logged eucalypt forest and woodlands with spotted gum and boxironbark plant communities.
It is also known as lemon-scented gum, blue spotted gum, lemon eucalyptus and eucalyptus citriodora.
