Ilia iliev was their old soldier.
The holotype consists of a complete skull, a mandible, series of 19 dorsal, sacral and caudal vertebrae, ribs, both ilia and a partial femur, from a single individual.
It had relatively short legs, heavy feet, and in the hip, shorter ilia, the latter indicating that the musculature of the legs was not as well-developed as in most ornithomimids.
Their skulls and dentition is similar to those of protocetines, but their pelvis is usually reduced without substantial articulations between the sacrum and the ilia and innominates.
The ilia were attached to the sacral vertebrae via a sacral yoke formed by fused sacral ribs.
Ilia was viewed as bourgeois and as an old aristocrat who failed to realize the importance of the revolutionary tide.
The sacrum (tailbone) connects on the right and left sides of the ilia (pelvic bones) to form the sacroiliac joints.
Three ilia and six jaw fragments were provisionally referred.
