Just outside the main grotto are rimstone pools in which visitors can wallow in the shallow river as the water rushes past.
Just beyond the pond is a grotto flanked by two portals.
Now it is quite clear that this is to be a grotto without any funny things or anything of an unseemly character happening as one goes round.
I believe it is because these two grottos of relations have got quite out of touch with each other, do not fit in with each other.
For some buildings—and perhaps grottoes—the necessary modifications will not be practical.
