On the other hand, it had ample space for posh new neighbourhoods and showplace parks, in which lighting and night-time outings were signs of civilization.
However, being 'posh' is not a positive thing for some of these respondents.
The phrase 'too posh to push' has been coined as an indictment of celebrities, although sometimes the phrase is used to encompass all middle-class women.
