Exempel på ovate

• Some sporophylls have ovate bodies apparently attached to the pedicel.

• Easily missed by the unfamiliar eye it grows into a small tree with a dappled grey trunk, straggly branches and clusters of ovate grey-green leaves.

• Gaster slightly ovate, 1.78r as long as broad; tergite 1 smooth, tergites 2-6 alutaceous; first tergite occupying two-fifths of length of gaster.

• Our observations (n = 14) showed that at maturity the stems (7.1 + 0.6 mm in diameter) bear ovate leaves (22.0 + 3.4 cm x 11.4 + 1.9 cm) with tear-drop-shaped perforations.
