Reparative sequences begin with a "repairable" or "trouble-source" turn.
Note that sometimes the words with predictable stress were borrowed earlier (cf. reparable and repairable).
Trouble is anything which the participants judge is impeding their communication and a repairable item is one which constitutes trouble for the participants.
