Are we not attempting here to be excessively cossetting in legislation?
I fail to see why we should be eternally cossetting and pampering the motor trade, which is largely responsible for much of our present difficulties.
We cannot go on reinforcing the old, failing industries of coal, shipbuilding, horticulture and so on and cossetting the weaker industries instead of strengthening the strong.
