On each side are two piers and an 18-light bow window.
The south front has a three-bay bow window with tall ground-floor windows.
The dominant roofline, dormers, arched bow window, and wooden interior are typical of the style.
Dining room plaster ceiling dates from 1865, when the bow window was added.
There is a smaller bow window in the central bay.
To the east is an added wing with a large full-height bow window, and there is a similar window at the west gable end.
The entrance front has a central bow window rising through all floors, and a single-storey porch with a balustraded parapet.
Later a bow window with a dome was built as an entrance, and later still pavilions were added.
