0 relating to the hip and pubis (= the lower central bone of the pelvis):
the iliopectineal ligaments
Its boundaries are therefore the iliopectineal arch, the inguinal ligament, lacunar ligament and superior border of the pubis.
This groove is bounded medially by an eminence, the iliopubic eminence (or iliopectineal eminence), which marks the point of union of the ilium and pubis.
It is separated from the muscular lacuna by the iliopectineal arch.
Variations occur, however, and the insertion on the iliopubic eminence sometimes radiates into the iliopectineal arch.
From there, it passes down onto the medial border of the psoas major, and is inserted to the innominate line and the iliopectineal eminence.
The iliopectineal line is the border of the eminence.
In combination with the arcuate line, it makes the iliopectineal line.
In combination with the pectineal line, it comprises the iliopectineal line.
