Is not an equally common term "flying boat"?
There you have a perfect landing ground the whole way for a flying boat.
I am also convinced that the flying boat can be of great use when a war takes place at the ends of the earth.
There is, therefore, no doubt of the civilian value and military value of the flying boat.
Is any other type of flying boat being developed?
I am not attempting to express a view against the flying boat but to correct any impression that the arguments are all on one side.
