The mezzeh consists of a wide variety of appetizers, usually including hummus (sometimes topped with meat), baba ghannouj, tabouli, lebeneh, olives and pickled vegetables.
It is often served with home fried garlic potatoes, or sometimes white rice (often a pilaf), tabouli or couscous.
