In this study, we have investigated the spectral sensitivities of three syngnathid species: a pipefish and two seahorses.
Five adult pipefish were collected from the wild and 5 adults of each species of seahorse were obtained from local breeders.
The tritons here 'saltano' on two seahorses and 'ballano' on a rock, four of them doing caprioles.
