The fresh lagoons will attract some waders but the habitat for other waders will be destroyed.
I should like to see all those waders removed from the list.
I am not so convinced about the goldeneye, nor about the five species of waders.
I am not aware of any waders or wildlife which might have been affected in this particular area.
They are both valued areas for waders and wildfowl, and incidentally both are areas of special scientific interest.
My point is that for waders this amendment would be a sensible rationalisation.
I can remember going about in waders, with tractors trying to get houses dry.
On the other hand, the policeman will not serve summonses quite so readily in bad weather because then he has to put on waders.
