Gynaecomastia is usually harmless but emotionally upsetting.
The neuropathy occurs in combination with systemic features, including hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, hyperpigmentation, gynaecomastia and/or testicular atrophy and sclerotic bone lesions.
The data sheet also specifies several possible adverse reactions including gynaecomastia.
With the exception of one operation in 1979 for naturally occurring gynaecomastia, no operations of this type have been carried out since the end of 1977.
