Examples of coxa

• Female wanting the small spot near the base of the anterior wings, the third segment of the abdomen slightly bronzed, coxae black. 

• Thorax black, legs black except the coxae which are white. 

• Why do you suppose the coxa and trochanter are so small? 

• Coxo-sternal shows coxae of left side, sternum not preserved.

• The coxae of the walking legs are grouped around this sternum.

• The hind coxa bears a small comb on the inside.

• Abdomen shortly ovate, pediculus more than \\ as long as hind coxae.

• Fore and mid coxae and trochanters pale.
