Examples of corona

• There the sun burned, and around it was an unmistakable corona. 

• We know that during a total eclipse of the sun the moon is surrounded by a luminous corona. 

• These results are useful for description of electron-beam propagation in the solar corona, which is a source of sporadic radiation.

• At this stage, the wire remains in a liquid- solid phase with a low-density plasma corona.

• The high-density pellet core is surrounded by a hot, fully ionized low-density corona.

• Taking into account the absence of counteracting pressure in the corona plasma, it is possible to expect it pinching onto the cold core plasma.
