The species constructs an oblong domed nest suspended with spiderweb to branches, usually placed low to the ground.
The nest is a very large, untidy, domed built of twigs made in tree branches, with a feather-lined nest chamber.
But we are, in fact, dealing with a baroque domed church; and in such a case totally different considerations apply.
The reason is that the domed studs are more easily seen at a distance.
In the case of a baroque domed church interest and beauty reside not in the parts, but in the whole.
Situated alongside a path, the domed room inside probably served as a resting place or even a tea-room for polite visitors and friends who had walked out from the house.
In the southern part of these rooms one will often find the fire installations, consisting of square free-standing hearths and oval domed ovens built adjacent to the walls.
The coffee-room is divided, by columns only, into three compartments, all domed, covering a space of 112 feet by 32.
