It is another piece of irrelevant malice exhumed from its putrid sepulchre.
They are entombed in the urns and sepulchres of mortality.
It now seems they are to become whited sepulchres.
I should in fact in this respect be a whited sepulchre.
We have doubtless not yet pried open all the whited sepulchres in which the bones of dead ventures still lie hidden.
To whitewash a sepulchre is not therefore to remove it.
That is quite convenient; the whited sepulchres are not there today!
