Not sufficient emphasis has been put on the value of new money resulting from rerating.
The point has been made about industry not being fully rerated.
It is perfectly clear that industry ought to be fully rerated.
Now it is being partially rerated and, obviously, there must be an adjustment.
If we rerate industry from a half to a whole, therefore, a further £60 million, approximately, will be available.
But it has said that there appears to be no logical reason why farm buildings should not be rerated.
I say that we should rerate agriculture so that the whole question can be looked at.
I say nothing about rerating or any of the minor issues.
