There are no teeth on the anterior or middle coronoid and there is no postsymphyseal tooth row.
A rudimentary coronoid process, apparently formed by the posterior coronoid, is present.
The small portion of the right anterior coronoid is badly preserved so that the presence of anterior coronoid teeth is not determinable.
The teeth on the dentary and posterior coronoid are largely embedded in matrix but the following information can be gleaned.
The vertical ramus and the coronoid process are not tall.
This has included the development of one articular process, the condylar, flanked by two non-articular processes, the angular and coronoid, each important as muscle attachment sites.
The anterior section of the right mandible, which is preserved isolated from the skull, begins at the symphysis and includes parts of the dentary, splenial and anterior coronoid.
The holotype is the anterior portion of the left mandible, from the symphysis to the splenial bone and containing portions of the coronoid.
